Lighting Caprici Pilot
on Right Side
The Black knob must in the 12 O'clock position for lighting the pilot. You
must press the knob in slightly but firmly so that the stem attached to the
knob goes into the valve. You must hold it in for at least 45-60 seconds while
putting a lighter or match to the cobra head of the pilot. Once the air is
purged from the line and valve the gas will be able to escape and the lighter
or match will ignite it, and this is when you start your 45-60 second count.
Once the pilot is lit you can now turn the knob in the direction of "ON"
to enjoy your fire.
Lighting Caprici Pilot on Left Side
The Black knob must in the 6 O'clock position for lighting the pilot. To light
the pilot the writing will be upside down. You must press the knob in slightly
but firmly so that the stem attached to the knob goes into the valve. You
must hold it in for at least 45.60 seconds while putting a lighter or match
to the cobra head of the pilot. Once the air is purged from the line and valve
the gas will be able to escape and the lighter or match will ignite it, and
this is when you start your 45-60 second count. Once the pilot is lit you
can now turn the knob in the direction of "ON" to enjoy your fire.
